JamLlama helps you find live music. JamLlama is operated by LLCrewJ LLC. This page explains what information the site collects, why, who it is shared with, and how to have it deleted. The short version: we collect only what the features need, we do not sell your data, and we do not run ads or analytics trackers.

If you just search

You can use JamLlama without an account. When you search, the location, artist, or venue you type is used to look up shows. A typed location is sent to OpenStreetMap's geocoding service to turn it into map coordinates, and the search is sent to JamBase, which supplies our show listings. Neither request includes who you are.

If you sign in

Sign-in is through Google. From your Google account we receive your name, email address, profile photo, and a Google account identifier. We use these to create and recognize your account. We do not get your Google password or access to anything else in your Google account.

We also store what you create or choose on the site:

  • your username
  • your preferences, including search radius, favorite genres, units, theme, and a default location if you set one
  • the artists you follow and the people you follow
  • the shows you RSVP to
  • the tours you build and the people you invite to collaborate on them

What other people can see

Your username has a public profile page. Anyone can see that page, including the artists you follow, your follower and following counts, and the shows you have RSVP'd to. Tours appear there only if you mark them public and choose to show them on your profile.

We never show your name, email address, or Google photo publicly. Your default location stays private: it is used only to personalize your own searches and sorting, and it is never shown to or sent to anyone else.

Feedback

If you send feedback, we store your message, the email address if you choose to give one, the page you sent it from, and your browser's user-agent string, which helps us reproduce bugs. To limit spam, the form briefly keeps track of the network address it was sent from. That address is held in memory only and is not saved.

Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to protect the sign-in process from forgery. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information. Information reaches these services only as described:

  • Google, to let you sign in.
  • JamBase, which receives search terms and coordinates to return show listings.
  • OpenStreetMap (Nominatim), which receives typed locations for geocoding.
  • Railway, which hosts the site and its database.

Ticket and hotel links take you to other companies' websites, such as ticket sellers and Booking.com. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies. Some of those links are affiliate links; the Affiliate Disclosure explains how they work.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your account information for as long as you have an account. You can unfollow artists and people, remove RSVPs, and delete tours yourself at any time. To delete your whole account and everything associated with it, email [email protected] from the address on your Google account and include your username, or send the same request through the feedback form. We will delete it and confirm by email. We may keep information where the law requires us to.

Children

JamLlama is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, let us know and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
